Charter Band has been performing to audiences across the region since 1986. Here are some of our previous and regular engagements.
Bourton On The Water, Gloucestershire
We are proud to perform on the riverbank at picturesque Bourton On The Water each summer. We usually choose to play the biggest "crowd-pleasers" in our repertoire. The concert is completely free of charge (although we appreciate donations towards our costs).
Christmas concert series
Every year, we provide support to local churches and charities by playing pieces from our extensive Christmas repertoire at fundraising events and Christmas services in the Gloucester area.
Brockworth Village Fete
We helped to entertain the crowds at Brockworth's Village Fete in 2009 and will be back in 2010.
Victoria Pleasure Gardens, Tewkesbury
Charter Band was invited to play at the re-opening of the Pleasure Gardens in 2009.
Great Gloucestershire Raft Regatta
We were delighted to be involved with the Rotary Club's Raft Regatta charity events in 2006, 2007 and 2008 at Saul Junction, on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal, providing music to entertain competitors and spectators alike. Members of the band even took to the water (although the less said about their paddling prowess, the better).
Royal British Legion benefit
In 2007 and again in 2008, Gloucester Charter Concert Band performed at Bushley Village Hall in support of the Royal British Legion. The evenings also featured a local choir.
St. Mary's Church, Painswick - 6th September 2008
Charter Band performed a short slot as part of a concert of classical music in beautiful Painswick, Gloucestershire, in aid of St. Mary's outreach services and the Wotton Lawn Hospital. The highly successful concert featured string and wind quintets and soloists in addition to Charter Band's contribution.
We are always happy to hear from organisations who would like live music for their corporate or charity event - have a look at our hiring details or contact us directly.
